Hmmm... I'm guessing since Cali has been hit with a shit show of snow fall the past few seasons the bigger comps have passed up on this venue this year. At least that's what I see on the FWT/FWQ locations. You are surrounded by comps though in NM, CO, WA, UT.
I highly recommend entering them though. The adrenaline rush you get during your run will push your skiing abilities in a way that recreationally skiing with your friends never will.
