Cali mountains open in June?

I'm going to be doing an internship in socal this summer and was wondering if you guys think Bear and Mammoth will be open in June based on current conditions? I heard Mammoth was open until July 4th last year so that would be great if I could get a weekend (or even two) at one or both of these mountains.
 
Bear will definitely not be and never is. Mammoth will be lucky to touch June this year. Unless we suddenly start getting pounded with snow, Mammoth probably won't be open in June.
 
Just saw on Mammoth's site that they plan to be open through Memorial Day. I think I can make it there that weekend, do they usually have parks open in the late season?
 
Definitely. I'm sure there will be a few fun jumps and cool jibs. It's about to get really hot though so hopefully it doesn't impact the mountain too much.
 
Awesome, glad to hear. Except for the weather of course. I will probably just bring my tent and camp out for the weekend, any recs on a place to stay that's close to the mountain?
