have the midterm tommarrow. does anyone that has taken it or is taking it have words of encouragement...........please.

funny. We didn't ahve a midterm. But I just decided to take calc in College.. I dunno. I heard the second semester is balls.

i got credit for first quarter calc (math 124) in high school-2 years ago and for some reason i thought itd be a good idea to take 125 now. i also have a midterm tomorrow. im so fucked. fuck the substitution rule am i right

im in calc right now. FUCK that. My teacher is some dumbass india lady that can barely speak english.Whenever she says "part" it sounds like she says "pot" so i finally got fed up and interrupted her saying "pot?!" She wasnt too happy about that..
Now everyone has given hope up in the class and just makes fun of her along with me. Hopefully i can get my class switched to a different one though

which one is calc bc? is that intergrals and series?

BRING A WATCH!!!! im serious, i almost always run out of time if i dont. time management is essential..

where do you guys go to school where you have midterms already?

or is it like midterm 1 is now, midterm 2 is later and the final?

oh and im in calc right now also...yay antiderivatives and definite integrals

calc wasn't that hard at all. I've really yet to take a class that's actually hard and challenging, most stuff in college is super easy for me

AB is calc 1 BC is calc 2. theres about a half chapter that both cover though like surface areas of revolutions and hyperbolic trig. AP calc AB goes a little farther than calc 1 and BC goes over the last bits of AB and gets to the end of calc 2.

well arent u smart.

i dont know what ur major is but i know electrical engineering is a bitch and half

anything for engineers, especially calc was way way way harder than regular versions. im electrical & computer engineering and shits hard as hell. i got an A in calc 2 in high school. B- in calc 2 for engineers.

my best advice is for integrals take your calculator and press: math, 9, equation, "comma", x, "comma", lower boundary, "comma", upper boundary, close parenthesis

FnINT(equation,x,low,high)

Math is always a crapshoot, pretty sure I did everything right but who knows if I misplaced a number, or a sign or whatever and fucked up the entire problem~
