Has anyone ever caddied at a real nice golf course? Im trying to get a job at a new course in my area and i heard the poeple that go there tip like crazy. How good is good??

ive heard a gold coarse near capecod which has real rich people go to it u get thousands from tips(over one summer), one of my friends has 2 brothers that are little younger then 30 now n they went n earned mad money wen they were young n one of em was real good friends with bill belachik(patriots coach) n was his caddy everytime he went

here's an idea....at this golf course near me, you have to cross a street to go to holes 7 and 8, and these kids set up a iced tea and lemonade and other stuff stand, and made over a thousand in one summer

dude, i caddy, u get paid good money during tournaments....not insane good money during regular days but its still sick....during a 3 day tournament u could make 500$ if ur starting and around $2000 if ur good and double bag, double bagging is where its at, u get double the pay

If the ppl r taking a cart u get like $20-$30 a putter

If ppl r walking u get about $40-$60 a bad (u always carry at least two putters if ppl r taking a cart, n u can do to bags so in 18 wholes u can make up to about $120, not bad for like 41/2 hours of watching ppl hit golf balls)

i caddy at a nice course and the guy i caddy for most of the time is the owner of the texas texans. he tips pretty well. one time, the kid who was caddying for his wife helps her read the puts and she made a birdie on 18 so he bought the kid a new pair of golf shoes. nice guy. we should start a caddy cult

you probably need to know things about golf, and i dont think that there is a specific age

you dont need to know anything about golf to be a caddy. i caddied at this really fancy golf course in 7th and 8th grade, so i was like 12-13 when i did it. the money isnt bad at all but its a lot of work. you gotta suck up to the golfers, rake the bunkers, tend the pin, keep up, and you can laugh at them and tell them they suck balls when they fuck up

when you're a new caddy you barely go out and make no money at all. But stick with it for a few weeks to show you're dedicated and you'll start making the good money
