It depends which ones you get obviously, but they are really good for the most part. I used a pair duck hunting for a while, they were warm enough, but were water resistant not water proof. It kind of sucked pulling up decoys in January haha.
I'm sure they would b fine in the snow. I still have that pair and they're about 5 years old.
