C.R. Yellow Tape

Are we still wearing yellow tape on the goggle strap for C.R. or is that whole thing over with? I think we should keep sporting it till he makes a full recovery, but whatever you guys think. lets hear it.

and any word on how the guys doin would be cool. havent heard an update for awhile.
 
some people were putting yellow tape on there goggles in support of cr, diddnt even real support him, just kinda showed that you cared, i only saw 1 kid do it at my hill for 2 days and everyone asked him what it was for, i guess not to many people did it
 
It wasn't set up as a magical cure(obviously) but just to show you got him in your mind/prayers I guess. Just to show support, not make him better. Nothing bad can come from it...
 
don't be a pric! it is simply a way of showing unity and solidarity for a brutha who is in harm's way. nothing more, nothing less. it reminds me to pray for him and prayer works. that's why people who go to church live 10 years longer (on average).
 
maybee because people who go to church are less likley to do harmfull things to their health, ie. smoke, drugs, cut 6's in their foreheads.
 
shut up... let us show support to him. like i live in norway, the least thing i can do is to put on some yellow tape! ive been using it since i first read the thread about it. still got it on
 
saying that yellow tape will no help CR so there is no point to do it is nonsense.

There is a lot of things that we do in life that have no consequencial benefit but we do them anyways.

You dont put the tape on cause you actually think there is some higher power that is gonna help him, but because you wanna show that you care.

and there are documened cases of large groups of people meditating and thinking positivly with direct correlations on crime rates and shit. they did a huge study in DC a couple of summers back, crime rates dropped by 25% which is INCREDIBLE. the only other thing that drops crime rates like that are huge snow storms that lock everyone inside.

anyway my point is that positive thinking does help change things and maybe it could help someone recover.

Don't misinterpret me, C.R is one of my favorite skiers if not in my opinion the most well-rounded pro out there right now. There is nothing more that I would like to see from this accident than a 110% recovery and shredding next years flicks, I just don't have a dreamcatcher over my bed if you know what I mean.
 
you guys that are saying that it wont help anything, thats like saying going to a funeral is pointless, they are already dead, what do they care?

it is to show that you cared

well putting the tape on is a way of showing the same thing
 
I'm sure he saw your goggles and got stoked. So you're saying by me not putting tape on my head I didnt care that Cr was in a coma?
 
I agree, and think the whole thing is dumb. Yeah it sucks he got really badly injured, but it happens all the time, people even die. But christ you guys treat cr like hes a god. He's really not much differnet then any one else. but do as you like, personaly sending the guy a letter or card would be a lot better.(if possible)
 
If you were hurt wouldnt you like to know that a whole nation of newschoolers cared about you and were pulling for your recovery. you never know maybe thoughts like that will give him inspiration to recover
