Buying Suspicious Skis

Have any of you ever been made an offer on gear that seems like it could be stolen?

Is there a right way to deal with this sort of thing?

Why are you making that assumption?

I'm not assuming that they are stolen, but just that they could be. It was because of no pictures, ridiculously low asking price, very little description. They're on craigslist too so I would pick them up and pay in person. I'm not worried about losing my money, its just about owning someones stolen stuff.

in that situation i would be more worried about them ripping you off then it being stolen.

You will never be able to really tell if they are stolen or not unless they tell you or someone on here says they lost that exact pair, if its a good deal buy them and if you see the owner tell them what happened and im sure they would be willing to refund you

once I found a pair of 2013 line after bangs title "trick skis". Who cares they are a good ski with bindings and they were crazy cheap

It could just be me but if its too good to be true then there's a reason. No one will ever know they were stolen or not but karma is a bitch.

I hear Suspicious Skis are really pushing ski technology boundaries, ever since the merger with Burton. Hopefully they work together and bring back the Hyphy Sticks.

It's not skis, but i've bought a Gopro Hero 4 Black few weeks ago... brand new in box never used for 450$ in Canada hahah.

Not suspicious at all hahah

So like 200 less than retail? Not that suspicious at all.. Especially considering the amount of people who buy Go Pro's thinking they are gonna make professional quality videos at the push of a button.

Guy probably realized he fucked up, cut his losses, and flipped it asap.

Also, could have been a gift.
