Buying skis in NZ

me and my buddy might go to snow park this summer and he wants to buy new skis there so are there any good shops there and do you guys have the 05/06 skis for sale or the 06/07 skis
 
don't do it. everything is SO much more expensive here. you'll be better off bringing your stuff from home.
 
We definitely do have all the new gear, we actually tend to get a lot of the new stuff before you guys do, however, it will set you back, obviously being on the bottom of the world and having a MUCH smaller market, stuff tends to be a lot more expensive, however, rock that with your high value dollar it's probably not toooooo much difference to get em here and then you don't have to travel with your gear so it's a payoff.

All the new Armada, K2, Volkl and Rossi gear is around and about, any decent shop in the country will have it, but try Auckland, Taupo or Wanaka/Queenstown, but any other major centre should have the good stuff.
 
Yeah Jase is the man, if you can find him... if you feel some teeth wrapping around your ankles, that's probably him trying to get your attention - if he's not being hit on by countless hotties, that man got more class and charm than James Bond to the 9th exponent, watch out!
 
holy crap everythings so expensive! i got my ar5s for like 600 canadian but im not sure if thats in american or new zealand dollars or which ever currency you have. dang i cant go anymore but ill try to be out there next summer or winter or august i guess
