Buying Skis in Australia

I currently live in Australia and am really struggling to find any US retailers that ship to Australia, and basically all of the Aus/NZ online ski retailers have pretty horrible park ski selection.

Does anyone living in Aus/NZ know of any good websites that either ship down under or are based in Aus/NZ that have a decent selection of park skis?

I live in NZ and yeah it can be a struggle. Unless you buy from a local store with shit selection you just have to go for the brands that ship factory direct to your door like ON3P, Vishnu, J Skis, 1000 etc
 
Send them a message telling you'd like to support the locals but they don't offer what you want. Ask them if they could order you the things you're after. Usually it works out nicely for both ends, at least here in Finland, where the status of ski shops is pretty much non-existent outside Lapland & Helsinki metropolitan area. I still always try to support the "locals" 150km away from me.

Shipping costs suck anywhere.

That’s why we don’t have any when you order through our website.

if the Alparka suits what you’re looking for, we’d be happy to ship you a pair to the upside down at no extra cost in NZ/AU dollars
 
if you have any friends in the US you could ship it to them and they could ship it to you but all that shipping might be expensive
 
You gotta find people trying to offload their skis they bought overseas. I ended up buying some new in plastic Liberty antigens from a few seasons ago for $208 AUD off eBay when I was there. But I had some guy offer me his practically new 181 Kartel 108s with attack 13s for like $900 AUD when I wrote him about a longboard on FB. So random and unexpected.

Some other good options are blackbird bespoke skis and, as previously mentioned, Fauna. And I know you’ll the Fauna no issues because they’ve got a lot of photos/videos from Cardies and NSW.

You can check our Rhythm snowsports but I think their real strength is getting skis in before the northern hemisphere. Otherwise, they’ve got some weird employees and the prices aren’t amazing.

It's the 2020s, the price you see should be the price you pay, none of this seeing a good deal (our 15% birthday sale right now as an example) just to get to the next step and find it's another 10+% because you have the audacity to want your product delivered to you, or worse they don't ship to your country because, reasons.
 
Yeah I did consider that, it’s quite expensive to ship skis across the planet and you likely have to pay a duty/import tax when they arrive in Aus. But if a pain in the ass for whoever ships it, unless the company you use pays those fees for you
