Buying new bindings for the first time in like 6 years

I've had my bindings since I was well under 100 pounds, now I'm about 125, and I ski way harder than when I first got them. I have the Marker M11 bindings from quite a few years ago and they really aren't holding up with the way I ski even at high dins. If I go off a cliff, and then make a hard turn afterwards to scrub my speed, my skis are likely to just pop right off. Sometimes even just making a hop turn over a mogul will knock them off, and going off big cliffs and landing in the hardpack they are very likely to fall off. One of the other problems is that when I was younger I would just ski with one ski when going off jumps in my backyard because I didn't feel like carrying both my skis up the hill so I'm very comfortable on one ski and often I don't realize I lost the ski until I'm way below it.

I'm about 125, not really growing anymore but I'm trying to put on a lot of mass, and I ski pretty hard. I'm on the Salomon Czar 174 which is a 111 under waist big mountain ski with a long rocker. Anyone have any recommendations for bindings? Not looking to spend too much but I want something that will allow me to feel more confident pushing my skis as hard as I like to push them.

most bindings nowadays work pretty well just pick something with a higher din (12-16) at a price you like and you should be totally fine

I would recommend the "Marker Giffons" they are around $189. They are a little Spendy but I have them on both of my park skies. I have never had a problem with them. I have had 1 pair for 2 years and they work perfectly fine. I have broken a brake once or twice but that happens all the time.

anything but salomon.

sth 16 is actually a solid binding, sure the z line sucks but you shouldn't get rental bindings in the first place. fks/look pivot are always a good choice

If you want a cheaper price fks 120 or the equivalent in look bindings I'm not sure what they are called. If you want a higher din go with the fks 140 they are the best binding I've ever ridden.

I'm like 120lbs. There's better bindings on the market now than there used to be for light but aggressive skiers. They have pivots in a 12 din, and the new sths are 13 or 12 or whatever. So there's plenty that's not aimed at beginners and isn't like 16 din.

Tyrolia Attack 13/16, Salomon STH2, Marker Jester if you go Marker, FKS/Pivot.

This. The first binding you should look at is Sth2. Come in a 13/16. Next is Tyrolia Attack. Also 13/16. I have both and love them both and haven't had any problems. I'm not a huge fan of marker but if your break them they are cheap to fix, but then again so is the sth and Attack. The sth and Attack are better cause they are more durable and better elasticity and such. Attack is also pretty cheap but amazing. Fks are good but they don't have a lot of adjustment so that can be a problem and they are expensive up front and to fix if they break, even tho they are pretty durable.

So just a recap

1. Sth

2. Attack

3. Fks/markers

I've had a pair of 12s and 16s for a few years and they're fucking scary. on icy days in the park I better be landing perfectly or they fly off no matter what the din setting.

There's more than just din settings to the sth. You also have to adjust your forward pressure and wing adjustment.
