Buying my first expensive pair of skis (and I don’t want to fuck it up)

hoping to ski a lot this winter so I am finally buying a fresh pair of skis.

Pretty sure im going for the Candice CT 3.0 with armada shift bindings (found this set for 750$ ish). How would you mount them for a season of some touring, powder skiing, buttering, and “using the whole mountain as a terrain park” haha?

Any input on the setup itself and the mounting would be madly appreciated (skiing European alps and Nordic resorts)❤️

Cheers bois n gals

I mounted mine at CT line, they feel awesome there. Such a fun ski.

I'm assuming your used to a more forward mounted binding.

Dont fret on the price sometimes, though skiing is expensive. Nothing better than fresh skis arriving to your doorstep when you know you worked hard for em

I have the exact same set up and I mounted on the CT line, don’t mount it anywhere else or you’ll fuck with the sidecut. It skis like a missile on the line and it can do literally everything

Fair warning: I have heard nothing but absolute praise for how the Candide 3.0s ski

I have also heard many horror stories about them breaking very easily. That said, Faction's warranty is superb, so go for it!

Armada makes bindings?

They have the Warden and the Shift because they’re under the same umbrella of America Sports as Salomon is, so they’re just rebranded
