Buying dslr in time square New York

So I'm in newyork for the weekend and I see hundreds of these sketchy shops that sell a shit ton of electronics including really cheap dslrs. I'm pretty sketched out to buy one from them so I'm asking u guys if u guys know or think they are legit cause there really cheap and look brand new and I'm pretty sure they come new in the box all wrapped and stuff.

So my questions

R they legit?

R they safe to buy?

Why are they so cheap?

How cheap can negotiate it for?

Any help would be great I just don't want to spend the money and have it break

They're fake. There's also guy walking around with brief cases full of fake oakleys and rolex's. They're mainly black guys doing this, not trying to be racist at all. I bought a fake rolex off a guy when I was they, don't worry, I knew it was fake. Just thought it was cool.
 
Wow, that was full of typos. It's kinda funny too with those guys, when a cop comes by they pack up and walk away without a word, like nothing happened, since what they're doing is illegal.
 
My advice though i have only been their 3 times is to stay out of chinatown because all the sketchy sruff you get their will break. Still nyc is cool as hell
 
Don't buy anything from Chinatown that you would be pissed off about it not working in two weeks. Stick to watches, gas mask bongs and katanas mate, it's what they're good at.
 
haha there's nothing wrong with chinatown, it's got an interesting vibe, some weird ass food and cheap knockoff stuff. Kinda more for the experience imo.
