The only reasons you want but coins are A) to
Buy drugs off the deep web
B) to buy child porn subscriptions off the deep web
C) to buy stolen laptops off of the deep web.

there are a couple of different places to get bitcoins. i haven't actually done it yet, but am going to one of these days. if you're savvy enough to get to silk road (assuming that's what you need bitcoins for), you should be savvy enough to figure out how to acquire them.
 
bitcoins can be used for much more then all that. Its an entire active market that constantly being traded across the globe. Stop trying to act all cool by saying the only uses for bitcoins are drugs and CP. The only reason you would say something like that is because those are the only uses you know for it. Go back to 4chan.

Did I say that im trading bitcoins? no. I said its a market. And I know how to buy bitcoins but id rather not get a prepaid debit card or do a bank/wire transfer. I might just end up buying a physical coin with code.

Bitcoins are an anonymous online currency, its value follows market trends that are based on computing powers and storage. The deep web is a pretty a decently interesting place where people can browse a multitude of databases without being tracked (its like 80% bigger then the regular web) and has basically everything on it. Its most well know because of all the /b/tards that go on there and look at child porn and a blackmarket site called silkroad. As you can see from this thread, to the general public thats all they think is on there.

Bitcoins have nothing to do with the deepweb, besides the fact that its a commonly used currency on there.

ive been to silkroad a couple of times to see what its like, its pretty crazy. just about every drug you could imagine (weed-heroin-shrooms) to guns and documents. Something id try not to be involved with
 
No, tor is simply a modified browser. Dont go downloading things in the deep web tho, thats a great way to fuck your computer up. As long as you browse and stuff youll be fine.
