Buying and selling domain names

Whats up guys. when amendment 64 passed in colorado I took it upon myself to register some domain names because I figure the marijuana industry is going to explode within the year.

the domain names i got were:

coloradomunchies.com

denvermunchies.com

denversativa.com

ogcolorado.com

anyways, i just finally received my first offer of $150 for coloradomunchies.com

Anybody here have any experience buying and selling domain names? I'm thinking that I can get more than $150 for it if I just wait it out. What do you guys think?
 
I think you're just a tad late to cash in on domains. If that turns out to be a true offer then take the money and run all the way to the bank and consider yourself very lucky. The days of getting rich off dot coms are long gone.
 
How much did you spend on each domain name? I must say that's some pretty forward thinking. I wonder if south park will do another weed episode to commemorate.

sell bricks of cocaine instead. way bigger market for it and you'll get a lot more for it
 
haha that's pretty smart. I would sell it at that price if it were me but you might be able to make a little more.
 
its through godaddy so I immediately get the $150 if I click accept. I counter offered for $600 so we'll see what happens.

for those wonder how much i paid, it only cost something like 7.99 each for a year I believe
 
It's for sure not as lucrative as it was in the 90's but people still do make money off domain names.
