Buying advice - Park/All-mountain ski

Hello :)

I am about to buy my first pair of skis!

I am 17 years old and I've been skiing for the last 6 years on week per year on rented skis. But now when my family has got a house in France (pyrenees), were going to ski more often - therefore i would like to buy a pair of skis.

I would say that i am a little above intermediate on the piste, but a beginner in the park - 180 is my only "trick"..

I am planning on training my park-skills pretty intense for the coming years, so i am looking for a ski, that can help me.

percentage of skiing: Park: 50%, Piste: 35%, powder: 15%

I am 5'8 (173cm) high and about 150lbs heavy.

I have been looking at the Armada ar7 10'11 and the salomon suspect 10/11', but since i am new at picking skis, i would like to have some advice :)

It would also be nice if the could tell me what height i should go for, since i am planning on keeping these skis for a couple of years...

Budget: (600USD), (450EUR)

Surface watch lifes sound perfect for you man, 100 waist so they will rip that pyrannee pow, but are killer in the park too. Rode a pair two years ago and thought they were awesome.
 
The look cool.. but i have read somewhere that it is a good idea to stick to the big brands, since usually makes the best quality - is that right or wrong ? :)
 
Its not always true to say small brands will not have as good durability, but genrally the big brands will be easier to deel with, espeically somewhere like denmark. I usally would usally stick to brands like armada salomon, k2 ect as they have years of experience. But Armada was new once and yes there skis fell apart easily but after about 5 years they got it going well.

The ar7 and the suspect would both be great skis. The AR7 will be a bit better in the pow, the suspect will carve better on the piste and they will both be fun in the park.
 
k2 fujatives would be great but i think they stopped making those..

Or... Take a look at the Kung Fujas by k2 - they're fat but apparently they rip the park..
