I tried out my friends snowboard and had a bit of fun actually. Wondering if any of you guys new anything about sizing and what I should expect for a price range for boots snowboard and bindings. I’m 5’10” 165 and I wear a 26.5 ski boot. Thanks

I'm 5'11 130lbs and am riding a 153 park board this year. I am also riding the Burton Freestyle bindings which you can get for around $100 CAD

Biggest thing people overlook when first getting a snowboard set up is the width of the board compared to your feet. Most boards in the last decade or so now will fit a boot around size 10. Once you start going above that boot size you want to make sure the waist width of the board is at least 26cm. You won't need a wide board unless you have monster feet.

It is infuriating and makes everything way more difficult if your toes and heels keep catching on the snow every time you try and turn.

5'10" and 155lbs....i like to rock a 155ish board normally, but own boards from 150 to 157. My everyday ride is the 157.

perfect, im about the same size and am looking at a 155

I'm 5'7 180, started off with 157 camber board. Although I haven't boarded for a long time, but now my board is a 152 hybrid (rides like a 155 due to design) and a 147 (swallow tail pow/slush board). Def suggest a hybrid camber profile for beginners (mainly skiing).
