Mr Vishnu man himself Emmett recommends skis between your nose and the top of your head. Don’t hate on side jumpers, pressure them to hit the rail. Tighten your boots

Wait are there people who like put their boots on and don’t tighten them up to where your foot and leg can’t move around? Like you’re out there sliding around inside your ski boots? That’s wild

The 171s are still taller than me? I'm still planning for those and I like the lots of black topsheets that just happen to be the theme this season.

I definitely run them just barely tight enough to not slide around/smash toes and no more. Except when I'm trying something that scares me, then I crank those mf's

When skis went from straight to ‘parabolic’ the sizes came way down. Then a couple years later a few heroes decided to turn up their tails and get real cool. However, the idea of the skis being much shorter failed to accommodate the fact that these fancy new twin tips work better with a tail as long as the nose. As a result, a twin tip ski should be much longer than a directional ski with a flat tail. You just gain all that extra length in the tail as it grows to match the front half of the ski. I’m 167cm tall and the shortest ski I own is a 175. Most of them are 182-194 and the nose of the ski is still roughly comparable to that length for a similar height skier on a traditional ski. I’m fairly convinced most freeskier types are on skis significantly too short, not the other way around. Curious to hear what size skis you all are on compared to your height!

a good friend of mine woke me up from my loose boot coma, i was convinced i had found the perfect balance between comfort and control but i was wrong, my friend told me to take a couple laps without feeling the blood going to my feet and the control is life changing. Tighten your boots.
