Buy one 2022 ski or two 2021 skis?

So this season I am planning on buying new skis. Here are my two options. I would think the moments would be sick and great and durable, but I could literally get two pairs of skis. I would just use binding inserts if I bought the two.

Option 1:

Moment wildcats 2022: $960

Marker griffon 2022: $275

$1235

Option 2:

Faction CT 3.0 2021: $442

Prodigy 2.0 2021: $353

Look pivot 15s 2022: $380

$1175

Option 4:

Last year's Wildcats plus a narrower option for low tide/park days.
https://www.skiburger.com/collections/frontpage/products/20-21-wildcat?variant=40107314446522

$607
https://www.corbetts.com/2019-head-attack2-13-gw-ski-bindings/

$120ish USD
https://www.corbetts.com/2021-k2-poacher-skis/

$350ish USD

Or the Faction Prodigy 2.0 at $350

Or
https://www.corbetts.com/2021-k2-reckoner-102-skis/

$390ish USD

Plus another pair of attacks
https://www.corbetts.com/2021-head-attack2-13-gw-ski-bindings/

With the correct size brake these are closer to $150 USD

$1227ish plus depending on options chosen.

What size skis are you shopping i think I have 174 to 184 covered right there.

I already have some line honey badgers and I was just going to try to push them through this season for park days, and then buy new park skis next year, but you're right.

SkiOutlet.ca has 2021 178cm Candide 3.0 and 3.0 X available priced at $499 CAN for the X version but it the same ski as the regular version. Just ask them to match that price on the regular version if you want the blue top sheet.

Have the 172cm 2021 Candide 1.0 which is a VERY well built ski and it’s at only $399 CAN.

2 pairs of Attacks(110 and 95 brakes) for huge deals at Corbetts for around $160 CAN a pair and you’re good!

Just bought a pair of Prodigy 3.0 and a back up pair of the CT 1.0 myself from them. Have the Wildcat myself too and the 2021 CT 3.0 is a similar flexing and weight ski. Got a pair of 190cm CT 3.0 for lower tide powder Skis so I don’t wreck my Wildcats that I paid twice as much for on rocks etc.

99% of the time buying stuff from the latest year isn’t worth it, you can get almost identical gear from the previous year for a huge discount
