Butteryest skis out there?

I'm a big advocate for the Halo's. Definitely very soft, but not a complete noodle. Give you the pop you need coming out of butters.

park skis suck everywhere else on the mountain. ~100mm is the best width for shredding the whole mountain, park included. but if you're just sliding rails at a trash hill, I'd want a 80mm ballerina ski too.

cant give you an exact answer but i will suggest that length plays a factor in the feel of the butters.

a shorter ski is easier to get your center of gravity over the tips and tails so butters will feel easier. if the skis are too long, it will feel almost impossible

next years TC ski is far softer than the invader if you can believe it.

definitely gets the award for softest ski. haha

Awesome, thanks for replying, I'm going to buying a pair next year either the 1.0 or the 2.0, which would you recommend for park and buttering? The rating on the 1.0 looks softer than 2.0 on the sia page, which would you recommend if i like jibbing and buttering!?

Thanks

Hi,

The new 1.0 is definitely our 100% park skis but still versatile enough to play around the mountains.

It features thicker edges and underfoot carbon reinforcement to increase durability.

It's also slightly softer than the 2.0, which is designed as a one quiver ski, from park to backcountry.

Awesome! at the moment i am using Surface One Life's in the park and love the width but maybe a littler thinner would be nicer, think i am gonna go with the 2.0 next season!
