Butter enough to create tail rocker?

I think I've buttered enough or landed backseat so much that I've created tail rocker on my line invaders. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean the shape of these skis are ruined?

It's what happens to all skis. They break in. Yes to some extent if you land super backseat you can snap the core, but from what you are saying its just normal wear.

i had a similar experiance, so i have these ghetto race skis (picked them up for dirt cheap) and i use them as my rock skis. so my resort is super rocky so i ride these 75% of the time. so they have a long triangular shape stiffener in the tails, and after a season of land back seat, wrecking hard, ect. i basically cracked the stiffeners in the tails so now my tails are decently buttery .

If you ride any ski for long enough and hard enough they will eventually lose there cambe and begin to rocker. I had a pair of ar6's I had for like 2 years which by the end of it were full reverse camber. They were fun to jib on but skied like shit obviously.

there's some aluminum strips in your skis that might have been bent

They will for sure last they will just get softer and more buttery which in the park really is pretty fun. They just won't carve as hard.

sorry mon. theyre only gonna get more rockered and broken in. your call if you wanna keep using them or not

I turned a full camber pair of ar7s into nonexistent camber with almost an inch separation toward where the tips used to make contact, in less than a full season. I also blew out a sidewall so those skis are getting hung up

yup happened to a couple pairs of my anthems, thought they were more fun that way when they still had snap but they turned to limp noodles not long after

i was going to say that my buddy did that to his old invaders a couple years back hahaha

those things are noodles man. such fun skis. hold on to that pair

Pretty much everyone I know has a slight nose/tail rocker after a season on a pair of skis. No matter how you ski, backseat or perfect, you're still pushing into your camber and after awhile the camber starts to disappear.

the fuck? you ride race skis 75% of the time?

does this mean that a park ski with tail rocker will keep its shape longer (this would probably make it stiffer), or is that just a completely different scenario?

No if anything it will lose it shape even faster as it is already rockered. Park skiing is tough on skis, it's one of the reasons park skis cost much less then other types of skis as they will only last a season or two In general.

well when you get core shots every other run im def not taking my crjs. you have no idea how rocky my resort is and we get no snow, cus i live in idaho

rockered skis just get more and more rockered. after this season my friends al dente's contact point was like an inch in front of the toe piece...happened to my bridges too just not as severe
