Ok so ive got Nose butter 1s down great. and ive been trying to huck butter 3s and I CANT DO IT! I realllly want to learn how because it is such a sick trick. Ive been like throwing my shoulders and arms into it and its just like i got up on the tips for a sec 180 and then they come down and no matter how hard i huck it it just doesnt happen.

HELP

practice practice practice. i just kept on trying. it's all about weight placement man. you just gotta put all your weight on your noses, not just kinda lift up your back skis. that's a problem i had when bringing 180s to 360s. also try em' off rollers...

like do i need to huck it slower and mor progressively. like ive been trying for a long time and nothing. Yeah i feel like im just lifting up the back tail

i can't tell you w/o video footage. but that was my exact problem from butter 3s to butter 180s. try just nose pressing with your poles and just standing on your noses. it just helps you know how to kinda get on them noses. then just take it to the spin. its just alot of weight pressing man. and don't try to lift the tails, press all your weight up. once you get better you can kinda add in both of them to get higher butters. make sense?

ok. i kinda get it. is it all pressing the whole time? because ive seen times where its like a butter 180 and then a 180 out of that, but ive also seen a butter 3 where they are on the tips the whole time

just do lots of nose press 180's on the snow. Just a revert pivoting around your noses.

Then start doing them faster and faster, you'll get the feel for sliding on your noses at a good speed.

Then just push it around more and more instead of stopping at 180.

Huge nose press 1's are super fun, but may lead to shin splints

OK pick a nice sharp knuckle off a jump to practice on. get the feel of the speed you will need by doing a couple passes and ollies. the trick to it is to 180 onto your tips, not buttering into 180. Once you get the fell for it, you will try to 180 onto your tips before the knuckle with your knees a little bent. At the apex of the knuckle you should be extending your legs to give it that butterlicious smoothness. Once your legs are getting close tu fully extended, give a little pop and look around for the 3

i do them by doing the same motion as a cork 3. youve seen em in the movies, right!? drop the shoulder and spin. try to aim your rotaition like you are trying to lie down on the ground face first. your skis will push you back up so dont worry. i like to pop out of my butters a little before 270, as once you get to 270 catching your tip edges becomes imminent. make sure you keep your lefs stright when buttering, unless you are trying to do some butter variation. and keep your feet together. this makes it easier to control them.

hope this all makes sense...

Yesterday it was my first day in park..i got a good 180, also with some grabs..but i got a preoblem with my 360..i spin a 360 without problems, but i'm always landing backseet..or sometimes i have some problems stopping my rotation..once land my body keep rotate..some advice???

thanks

keep practicing and doing the butter 180s. Once you are used to the pop and everything just remember that your body follows your head, so keep looking for 360 instead of tryng to spot early.

thats exactly what happened to me on my first 3s. i just said fuck it for the day and the next time i went up i stomped them perfectly. and practice alot. haha. hope that helps/

try keeping your hands forward. when going off the jump, when spinning, and landing. i can almost guarantee this will save you!
