Rumors are flying and it might happen, Cheney might take one for the team and let McCain take the VP slot. How much would that rock, I hope it goes down, and if it does this will be one hell of a convention. And if it does happen Kerry is done for, he will be dead in the water, McCain's record blows Kerry's away. Oh shit I am excited.

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

McCain has been backing bush hardcore in the last week, he has a prime time speech at the Con, and all the strategists have been saying that it might happen. I am not getting my hopes up by any means but that would be so straight.

There are many reasons why it would happen and why it wouldn't.

It could happen because the GOP wants to get some of the liberal republican votes. These are the people who have voted republican their whole lives but realize that Bush campaign can only hurt this country given another two years. They realize that Cheney is the epitome of pure Evil and the Bush is retarded.

Of course, there is the major reason why it wouldnt happen: They would piss off many hardcore conservative republicans. McCain is as liberal as the GOP gets, and some real conservatives could resent that. Plus, McCain isnt the low, slimy piece of shit that Cheney is.

All in all...I doubt it will happen. I dearly hope it does happen, however, considering the possibility of the republicans having control for four more years.

PS...I dont want John Kerry in office either, he just seems to the lesser of two evils.

yeah i think mccain is a good guy but i wish more people knew he was a swingy republican, who at heart is more right than he comes off in a strategy of getting more support.

sorry to burst your bubble guys, but no way this is going to happen. mccain is content being a senator and does not want to be anyone's VP. it's too late in the game to change any of this. they already renominated cheney. this would have happened a long time ago if it were going to happen.

 
If Mccain becomes VP, and bush wins the election then Mccain has a pretty strong run for 2008. Which pbly meant at least 3 terms of republicans.

Reasons why this wont happen-They have to change the posters.

I don't know, if McCain managed to actually have some sway in how things are run (as Cheney did), this could be a big improvement over the last 4 years. But really, folks, we're dreaming here.
