Alright I know its a bit early but since earlybird booking is about to close I just thought I'd start us off by asking which NSers are going to Tignes this year for awesomeness that is the Main Event.
Thought it might also be useful to have somewhere that we can talk about the BUSC set up without having to do it on their forums.
 
OK I am aware this thread fucking sucks, but hey I was hoping for some more input from the other UK NSers. Whatever.

Just to ask the opinion of y'all on the acts that have been announced I know of are:

DJ Switch

Jakwob

High Rankin

Just wondering what your guys opinions on these acts are and whether or not your stoked that their playing.
 
my thoughts, why the hell would they advertise as doing it on the x games course

either

a) they will scale it down so it isn't the x games course

b) everyone will die on the last kicker, i saw them at cas for slopestyle, god help any of them

good luck though, are pendulum playing this or the brits?
 
I think Pendulum are playing the Brits as I am certain that the BUSC committee would have made a massive deal them playing.

As with the X-Games course - I would be inclined to agree with you. The level of competitors in the British Unis is not high enough across the board to justify maintaining a full, professional sized slopestyle course. It just doesn't make sense. Same deal with the halfpipe last years BUSC had a tiny one in comparison to the big icy monster that will be there after X-Games Europe.

In all honesty I think they just want to pump it up as much as possible. Personally speaking if I am sober enough to go anywhere near a slopestyle course at competition time I will be very impressed with myself.

Dude if you'd stopped at the saving for NZ part I would've completely understood - fucking love that place.
