Bus Transit

I'm coming to Colorado, and am trying to figure out transportation between Denver International Airport-Copper, Copper-Aspen, and Aspen back to the airport.

Are there any types of public transportation systems (i.e. buses) or is it only mountain shuttles, taxi, etc.... services?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. any ideas for hostels in the locations would be nice too.

i know there is a bus to silverthorne (about 10 minutes east of copper) from dia. but not sure on anything from aspen back

There is a van that will take you to vail from DIA, it's called CME I think it's stands for colorado mountain express. Not sure if this company will help you go were you want to.

Call CME, they will take you to Copper or where ever you need to get. Its like $60 or $70 bucks. Not too bad! Just google CME like the other kid said, it stands for Colorado Mountain Express!

You can use CME. It will take you all the way from denver to Aspen and back again. Another option is greyhound from denver to Glenwood springs, then you take RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority), it is a bus, from Glenwood to Aspen. CME is faster but will still take twice as long and cost just as much as renting a car. If you rent a car you can drop it off at the airport in Aspen, not a bad option, shouldn't be more than $100.
