okay which lightweight spring jacket is better. Im thinking burton cause its actually waterproof and not just resistent. But i mean in Va, its never really cold, i wore a sean john hoody all season long. So in your opinion what a better light weight jacket. If u have other brands, list those 2. thanks

k2skeepimp, i was actually leaning toward the oakley anyway, your reasons above do make sense, and helped me choose, i was thinking, im picking the oakley because its white colored, so it will match anything. But wait siver cartel has this jacket coming on next year, just from the pic, i can tell its like the oakley, but ill best its more expensive since it will be new, i can get the oakley for like $30-40

as much as i am dissapointed to see this question arrive, hopefully by posting this others will see the light and avoid these painful threads in the future.

it is as clear as the sky is blue that you should be buying oakley. there is no need for snowboarding outwear. end of story.

if you want a better jacket go burton i sell ski clothing and know all the technical materials and fabric and burton uses better quality stuff than oakley and has a better warranty as well.

Oakley is realy good still and is more of a ski company though your decision either way you will be happy.

 
lol, i just found out the straight jacket is not really waterproof like the tanto jacket. And since i can't find oakley stuff online for crap, Im gonna check out the www.morphic1.com stuff, their stuff is cool, its like interchangable colors and stuff. probally the fatigue green click pants, or the red media pants, the ones withthose females on the bottom of the pants legs :). Jacket, still is up in the air though, cause i mean to many choices, but I live in Va, its not gonna get really really cold, so layering with a lightweight jacket would work well.
