soooo, im doing 1 to 1 patient observation here, my shift is 11p to 7a. i had a decent dinner, i have a big smartwater and a 5 hour energy for 2am or so, and my chick just sent me naked pics. im watching training day in this dudes room (he is sleeping, not much to observe). i dont know, tell me about your day, tell me a joke, tell me a tip for staying awake, i dunno.

i just went to a little league baseball game. what the fuck happened to the fun of the game? i just wittnessed parents screaming and swearing at the umpire and talking shit about the other team. they were a bunch of sarcastic immature fucks. and they try to force their kids to live all of their unnacomplished MLB dreams, so they put them on travelling teams and hitting coaches, pitching coacches, catching coaches. fuck. they're just kids.

but on a lighter note, anchorman 2 is coming out next year!

you should just look at pictures of courage wolf and advice dog, they give me a laugh every time.
 
I umpire those games and it is crazy how insane 10 year old coaches and parents are. Kids start crying cause their coaches are screaming at them for swinging and missing a pitch. It is disgusting
 
i work in a hospital, im doing overtime tonight watching a withdrawing alcoholic. they do crazy shit and need constant observation. however, he is sleeping right now, but could snap at any moment i guess.

they are actually naked pics. obviously cant post, although i would love to claim it. i got plenty of my gorgeous girl in my profile if any of you want to see. i cant post them cause this computer is crazy. someone else can post them if they want.

ill try out the websites, although im going through a proxy right now, and am on an old slow comp, so im not sure if any media-rich websites will work.

and seriously, parents with little league issues kill me. it literally disgusts me. i feel like its borderline abuse to the children. how you deny your own kids enjoyment from a timeless and fairly simple game blows me away. i would have had to leave or i might have punched someone.

I met Ethan Hawke at my local hill once. Steve Buscemi too. Both scraggly as fuck in person, but super super nice.

I am trying to get some much needed work done, but I am sooooo freaking good at procrastinating. I should probably just give up and go to sleep. Unless you can give me some motivation!
 
Since timberline extended there season pass. im going skiing tomorrow on the last day of school. Yea bitch. just think about how that makes me feel and you will be up all night thinking about it just like me.
 
i am on the opposite end of what you are doing. i am actually in the hospital tonight in the ICU, and someone is watching me all night, like you are doing to somebody! cool huh?
 
i wish. its been raining all week here and i need some adrenaline. well my dude woke up and he is babbling away like crazy. its pretty sad. i love booze as much as the next person but i dont drink every day, or let it control me. alcoholic dementia. major bummer.

on another hand. just saw a commercial for Public Enemies. i CANT WAIT for that movie to come out. its going to be sooooo fucking good.

yeah i read about your story earlier, i feel for you dawg. i was thinking earlier how dope it would have been to be in your room instead. we could have kicked it all night, it would have been so much more fun than this crazy homeless guy im watching. i would have brought the xbox or some shit, or some movies or whatever.

man if i was in the ER this would be so much easier. its hard to be sleepy when you have gunshots and stabbings and drunk driving accidents.
 
these tvs in the hospital are bizarre, they get all the encore channels but not some regular channels like comedy central and CN and all that. im watching trutv now about the "queens of armed robbery". it is about these rich high school girls that robbed liquor stores to pay for coke. they got caught and were sentanced to 7 years of jail. it was pretty hilarious how the judge owned them.

well, things are looking up anyways. i normally wake up for work at this time, so im much less tired. plus, local news starts at 5am, which is good, a vestige of the new day.

by the way, why the hell are you up so late?
 
well, i just got done having sex.... and my gf and i are parting ways for the summer tomorrow, im heading back to bellingham and she is going back to france. so its a combo of packing, sex, cuddling... rinse and repeat.

well i have some questions. what do you do for work? you say you are off at 7. is that 7 like im off at 7 in the morning here? or are you just adjusting it for me? if so, what is the time/date there? whats the weather like right now?
 
well i'm in beijing, i work for a start-up rental car broker as an intern. www.holidayautosasia.com if you're bored. and i get off at 7pm here, which depending on where you are in the states is about 12 hours ahead of you. It's thursday, june 11, at 5:30 pm and i'm sitting with my three chinese coworkers and we all have like nothing to do.
beijing weather is bomb, it rains very rarely (actually the government bombs the clouds with chemical artillery shells every once in awhile to make it rain, you can hear them going off sometimes). It's been hot as fuck lately, and the AC in my apartment just broke.
i just finished studying for the semester at peking university, just getting some work experience. i do random shit for the website, work the support line, i'm currently trying to learn a new programming language so i can make a webform for a database i just made, and i'm writing a business plan for a car sharing company in beijing. kinda like zipcar, if you've ever heard of it.
anyway - how did you get that job? whats the craziest thing a patient you've been observing has done?
 
wow, thats really cool. are you chinese? do you have some sort of connection? or did you just do these things out of sheer ballerness. either way, thats really sweet.

i got into this job by accident, i didnt have insurance at age 18 so i thought why the hell not, ill be a nurses aide and get insurance. turned out i have a passion for medicine and sick people.

and dude, i have seen more things about the world than you can even imagine. its changed me so much as a person i could barely begin to explain it. i have seen the most disadvantaged fringe of society, people that live in the woods with giant infections, whole limbs in gangrene. i once took care of a homeless man who had diabetes and lost consciousness on cold rock in the sun naked for 8 hours. he had third degree sunburn on his top half, and blackened hypothermia on his back. he died. i have seen people withdraw from heroin, pcp, coke, alcohol, anything and everything. they become possessed, will hurt themselves, gouge holes or scrapes into their wrists and ankles where we have them in restraints. i have done CPR on babies and little kids, seen amputations, open chest and abdominal wounds, brain open to the air, a beating heart exposed by buckshot, spraying blood, people taking gasping last breaths, people who knew they were about to die and said actual "last words". i have had people who had no heartbeat for 45 minutes wake back up and be totally fine, after being pronounced dead (some of you news junkies might remember that, in oregon about a year ago). i have seen terrible mental illness.

so yeah, my life has been changed by this. for the better, i feel like i understand the human condition much more after this job. i get to hurt with my patients, and also revel in a "save" or a full recovery with the patients.

jesus, that sounds absolutely ridiculous. you should be proud that you have the balls to deal with that shit every day - i know that i don't.
i'm not chinese, born and raised in cleveland. no connections, went to college and decided i wanted to learn chinese and do business here someday. so i just spent my second semester of my junior year at PKU, decided to stay the summer and get some business experience. in all honesty, if you're white and a native english speaker, the opportunities are absolutely endless. I've taught english, been a car model, done voiceovers for commercials, hooked up with hooters girls, you name it. i feel so much more free her than i ever have in america - i know, that sounds fucked up but it's completely true. this country is amazing, everyone needs to experience it once in their lives. I know people that dropped out of high school and are living here teaching english, making over $20 an hour and only working 20 hours a week - and they live like fucking kings.
anyway long story short, come to china. you've got a place to stay. and that goes for anybody that reads this.
 
hahaha, thats sooo sick. i always thought it would be dope to do something like that. its tough now cause i have a serious girlfriend, but maybe she would be down. i never knew thats how it went. i assumed that teaching english in most of these places only afforded you a paupers (read:broke college 20-something)life.

and to the other dude, you live in NYC or something?
 
nah I live a wee bit upstate NY. I have to travel down to Somers for school which is like a 45 minute train ride. I do plan on going to SVA if everything goes how I want it so in the end I might live in the city after all
 
aha, i see. well the reason why it was on my mind was cause i was just in the city and i was hittin up mad trains over the course of a couple of days. i just was wondering.
