Burlington uvm visit

alright so im going on a college visit MLK day weekend and im ganna bring my skis.

what resort is the closest that has the best park thats ganna want me to come to VT...

srsly i know nothing. need your alls EXPERTISE!!

If you're driving to VT and going anywhere near southern VT on your way, I would definitely try to hit up Mount Snow. The park is far better than anything Northern VT has to offer. If you're limited to stuff near Burlington, Stowe has the best park in the area, but Sugarbush, Smuggs and Bolton would also be options. Jay is slightly farther.
 
jay is the best deal... but its like 90 mins away from burlington...

i guess bolton or sugarbush, but theyre not the best.
 
First off nice choice with UVM hopefully you got there (i do as well)
Secondly the closest resort is Bolton Valley. It's like 20 mins away but its kinda small. However I heard the park was pretty good even though I haven't been there yet this season.
Stowe is about 45-50 mins away and from what I've heard the park is decent. Also tickets there are mad expensive :-/
Jay is about 75-90 minutes away depending on weather. It has great tree and non-park skiing but there parks are pretty bad....

yay UVM there are a ton of kids that go there on here, myself included. For park go to stowe, the ski and snowboard teams train there. for an epic ski experience that will make you want to come to VT go to Jay, the weather can be a bitch some times but when it's good, it's really, really good up there
 
if you're lookin to hit up the park then your choices are stowe, sugarbush, and Boltonvalley...Stowe has the best park but it also costs around 90 skrill...BV has a decent park AND night skiing so you could stay all day...its also only 40 skrill pretty sure...bush is just bush...ok park but alot of skrill too...Id go with BV seeing as it is halfway between Burlington and Stowe and thus only takes like 20 min.

if your looking for the best park experience i'd go to stowe, it may be expensive but it's definitely got the best park scene in northern vt and you'll be able to meet a lot of kids that ride park and go to UVM.
 
Yo! if your a perspective student that might be interested in joining the freestyle team you should contact Tess Hobbs, she runs the team and has vouchers for stowe for incoming students.

vouchers for free lift tickets?!?! izz got into UVm and id like to do the freestyle team but i dont really need to visit cause i live right outside burlington :P...id still love a voucher :)
