Bulgaria!!!!!!

So my girlfriend only has one week of to ski this winter, and since im in uni, we're pretty poor, so we've been offered a GREAT deal on Bulgaria, Borovets to be specific. (We live in Denmark). I was just wondering if theres any Bulgarians or perhaps even Borovetsians? on here that could give me the lowdown on this place. Is the park acceptable? How's the freeriding?Maybe we could hook up and ski if we decide to come. Huge +k for any legit answers!

I've found stuff that indicates the existence of a park, but nothing concrete, hence this question. They dont seem to well versed in the whole interwebs thing in Bulgaria!
 
First off "tee- seet- poot- kuh" doesn't mean pussy. What it is trying to say id "you are a pussy" but internet translations are horrible. "Putka" means pussy. "Ti si putka" means "you are a pussy".

I used to live in Bulgaria. I never skied Borovets or any of the other resorts. I really don't know if they have a park or how big. I never met any locals that skied very much. The ones that did were just casual recreational skiers. They say the mountain is big and has a lot of terrain. If I remember right, they did say that Borovets is the best resort in Bulgaria. But again, I didn't ski while I was there and the bulgarian skiers that I spoke with were all about groomers.

nah dude. their bludgers left this season. i think it was after the whole sex scandal thing.
 
i dunno about borovets cuz i havent skied there in a while but i can tell you about bansko,the other big resort.perfect for bc if it snows.you get of the lift and go left or right and you'll edn up having super fun.i dont think we'll have a park up and running till late jan but i may be wrong.every year it's different.bansko has better night life than borovets thats for sure.anyway you'll have a great time but dont count on skiing park much

Der er vel lidt danskere herinde, hvor mange ved jeg ikke. Pt står valget også mellem Bulgarien og Sverige/Norge, vi undersøger vores muligheder, selv Island har været på bordet. Men vi holder mulighederne åbne, og ser hvad der sker!
 
I thought it was the Belarus team who were involved in the whole sex scandal thing? I think the issue with the Bulgarians was mix up with the Belgian team. Because they sound similar, all the players actually forgot which country they were from. And waffles
 
Pretty good memory. If you had looked it up online it probably would have been worse. The fact that you even know a Bulgarian phrase, even if it is that one, is impressive. There aren't many people out there that can claim that.
 
I don't know too much about the resort, but I know they've got pretty much no snow so far this winter. So even if they wanted to build a park, I don't think they'd have the snow to build any features.
