i'm not sure if you can still, but you might (might not as well) want to put some diagonal struts in there, that way you don't get any sway in the structure.

what made you want to build with vertical beams rather than more of a frame setup?
 
what do you mean by a frame set up........this was my first box so i had no idea what i was doing but it turned out well
 
ya man for sure i'm actually jealous that that box is sitting in your garage right now and not mine. i'm not rippin on u i was just asking. a frame set up is making a frame on each side of the box (four sides, each composed of one beam either running vert or horizantal depending on the side its on, and maybe one or two angular supports. Basically, you just make four faces, and then attach them all around together to form the frame. follow?

Now do you understand what I mean? It just means its a bit more stable with the angular braces.

sick box, and you built it fine, and you have plenty of support. You're going to put som 2*6's or something on the bottom so it doesen't sway side to side when you hit it right?
