Yeah it's true.. I heard the Bush administration now controls 80% of the worlds magic.

use wood with a bed of broken glass so your skis can zip right accross. Or just buy a snow machine and shoot snow in to a ramp shape and jump off of that shit.

Eggs and bacon please, eggs over skeezy

with the stuff that they make regular water ramps out of, would be probley just as bad to crash on then glass. Ive seen some pretty horrble crashes with people fucking up going off the lip

yeah my friend ate shit on the 3rd biggest ramp in the whistler water ramps, its alot bigger than it sounds but it was great, i dont care about safety and i'm thinking about just putting plastic down but you would have noo control, i want controll and it need to be fast, snowflex works but i heard it costly

i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit

Inless you have 2k to spend dont bother, take it from me we have tryed for a long time and called places it takes alot of money. Best thing to do i get ply wood make a jump and use skates cuse useing with skis is hella expensive.

Right on. Wood ramp and skates are the way to go.

better to burn out...

...then fade away

just do the snowfenc it usualy comes in 50 feet or 100 feet by 4 or 5 feet and oyu can cut it inhalf and use the extra for a rail or somthing and to build the jump you should make it outa wood on stilts over the water a few feet in then nail or staple the snow fence to the ramp make sure you have a steepenough hill going to the water

theres some guy on NS that has a huge ramp in his backyard. it looks like a wood with a black tarp with water on top.

I've got a homemade ramp in my backyard and ended up using a plastic pond liner. We use a garden hose to keep it wet. We also cut in half pvc pipeing to keep us in the track because it's so damn slippery. Here's the catch with flat plastic sheets, water and ski bases create enormous abouts of suction and thus slow you down. We ended up putting two thin strips of a neoprene sticker down the skis and now we fly. Edge control is not an option, you point them straight and set your rotation with your body. We needed the pvc pipes just to save our groins on the actually upslope of the ramp. It took awhile, we've got a 90 foot inrun and 4 foot high ramp. The first 45 feet is at about a 35 degree slope and then it flattens out before the ramp.
