Building rails

i have been building all kinds of different rails but now i want to make some kink rails...i hope to make a flat down flat down but i cant for the life of me find any way to make the kinks and connect then securely and yes ive checked google and youtube many time can anyone help me!!?? im also building with wood not metal!
 
Irrelevant post / threadjack but what material for top of a box? HDPE, bowling alley wood, or any other suggestions

And to OP are you using PVC? Just make sure each kink has a small drop onto the next one and you should be fine. Stuff doesnt need to be perfect.
 
you can use PVC pipe and 2x4's. just have to cut angle pieces of the pipe to fill the gaps between kinks
 
dont mean to thread jack but i posted in build a jib and got no feed back but how do i keep my box and pvc rail from the top snow on it turning into ice.
 
The snow is melting and turning into ice on top of your rail?

Scrape the snow off as soon as possible. If it is snowing while you are sessioning it and it is turning into ice I have no idea.
 
it might be melting but it is like -10 celsius overnight and that is when it snows and in the morning still below 0 celsius its ice.
 
I forget what it is called but i made a 9 foot box out of the white plastic used on boxes at your own mountain, I think PVC but it's around $130.00 for 9 feet of it, but of course it would be the best and most sturdy, i love my box
