I thought black comb was one of your home mts. It seems like people build stuff there all the time, although you don't really need to because there is so much great natural.
I think the trick is to carve out instead of build. Try to use natural terrain and just do enough to get the job done. If you build a huge wedge, ski patrol is probably going to get their panties in a twist, but if you carve out a side hill hit, they might leave it alone. There are places in the back bowls where people build jumps all the time because they want fresh snow for the landing, but that's all it has going for it. You hit it a few times and it's bombed out. There are plenty of other place where half the work is already done for you.
I made a thread awhile back on building bc booters, and this is kind of a repeat.
