Building a summer set up any suggestions?

Build the drop in bigger than you think you need. You can always lose speed coming, in. It's really hard to gain speed

really smart thank you Im feelin a 5 or 6 foot drop in I'm not exactly sure whats best but that sounds about right to me.

Hit me up later I’ll tell you exactly how to make it dimensions of like every piece. Mine was 11 feet tall if I can correctly remember and it was perfect.

word lets talk about it tmr after school ill be making stickas so I should be free.

Make the drop in slope wide and mellow. Mine is 48" wide and 45⁰. It's fine but it would be better with a mellow slope. It could also be a little wider. Anything less than 48" gets sketchy with speed

for the drop in part does it work to alternate like 6 inches of msnow and 6 inches of nothing cus ts is not cheap

Yeah that works just try not to do it on the transition (curve). Otherwise your tips smash into the msnow

Bruce oldham has an old video series where he makes one

Bruce does some pretty badly planned carpentry. Jackson Karsteter's build vids might be less informative but show a better way to make a transition and sturdy setup. Also check the build a jib forums here on NS
