Building A Summer hit

Hey im bulding a summer rail and i was just wondering what people use to make the inrun. Ive herd astroturf and soap works but i was wondering if there were any other things that work and also if anybody has any tips or good ideas or anything that could help.

Well I heard snowfence works really well (the orange plastic fencing stuff) and you dont even need soap and water.

snow fence, just pick some up at home depot or something, and put some liquid soap on to help you slide quicker

well seems like rails work well but could u make a summer jump or would the landing be too hard

use indoor outdoor carpet, and just get it wet, at least that is what tyler barnes tells me. he is a very smart kid. or at least thats what he tells me

Ok, Astro Turf is best thing to use, Snow fence and things like that will work but they also need water. TSnow fences you have little control on Astro turf is like like snow. Astro turf cost a bit more and dosent side as fast but you have complet control when you go down. Right now I have an 8ft Drop in cuse my back yard is flat and its enugh to hit a 2' high 24' long dubble PVC kink.

snow fence is speedy but also is slippery so go with astroturf and make the drop in a lil biggger than 8 feet

indoor outdoor carpet is basically astroturf, and it works really really well, my inrun is like 25 feet long and it gives me enough speed for a twenty foot straight rail with a 15 ft double kink after it, i've had it over a year now.

Ok this is how you do it..........

Make a nice starting ramp and nail snow fence to it so that it is nice and taut. Get about a 25'x 6' piece of indoor outdoor carpet and slip one of the short ends under your starting ramp. This way you can get a lot of speed on the snow fence and then you can set up for the rail better on the carpet. Voila!

Watch out for Handi- Caps(baseball hats) and Handi skateboard decks coming soon....

use regular carpet like you would find in your home, and put snowfence over it. soak it with water and liquid soap, works for hours. i used to just use snow fence but talking with mikeE gave me the idea and its a much better surface. you go fast and you have control as well, you cant go wrong.

I wish I had room for all this in my yard, but I have to build it all at my friends house (he has a huge farm across the street) and so when he isn't there and I ride it this guy with a shotgun yells at me and it's funny...
