well you're fucked then. sorry man. instead of grinding that piece of shit and doing a super sick 90 on 90 off, why dont you shove that metal pipe up your ass.

thanks man ill give it a go! don't know how skiable it will be when its up my ass but ill try it out. thanks for the sick advice!

Could probably just walk into a local garage/workshop that has a welder and just ask them to do it, guarantee one of the guys there would do it for you, would take 5 minutes.

I know if someone walked into my work and asked the welder would 100% do it for like $10 or something, at least where I work people do little home jobs all the fucking time for some extra cash haha

Worth a stab, I know this isn't what you asked in the OP though lol

Make a triangular design out of 2x4s with two or 3 2x6s running length wise.

Use long screws and make it sturdy. Will have to hold more weight than pvc rails.

Now this is helpful!! +k for the help thanks man I'll give something similar a go unless there are some other brilliant ideas out there

If your gonna lay it on the ground get some 1/2'' pipe in 1.5ft sections, and then pound the pipe into the ground, one on each side, front the pipe and back. Just make sure the ground pipe isn't sticking up that far.

thanks i was thinking about that... would I have to go and buy a drill bit for metal though?

You just need two metal drill bits. Any power drill should work. The hole on the top of the pipe will need to be big enough for the screw and head to fit down through. The second hole, the hole from the inside of the pipe down through the bottom should only be as big as the screw. You might also need an extension bit so when you put the screw on the bit it can reach down through the first hole and screw all the way into the wooden frame.
