Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a blueprint plan or something of how to make a drop in? Im looking to make a 16 footer and am not sure how much wood I need and what kind of stuff.

I figured, 4 4x4s with cemente blocks in the ground, put a 2x6 base in between the 4x4s to make it sturdy. and finish off the top with 2x4s. what should I use for a ramp? and what angle should it be at? I was thinking 45 degrees.

Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I was hoping 16 feet high, im not sure on the down ramp, i was thinking 6 ft. wide, and make the lip out of snow

i have one of those really old swing sets that are like towers....so im just cutting the slide of and making a down ramp

Is this a drop in that you will be moving around to do urban or one that will be staying in place at your house? Based on your comment about the cement blocks I'm guessing you won't be moving it. But, when I built one I was hoping I would be able to both move it in my back yard, and maybe for some urban, but it was far to heavy to ever move outside of my yard. If you are considering making it portable make sure to design it ahead of time so it is as light as possible. Even if its gonna stay in your back yard I don't think 4X4s are necessary, a good design with 2X4s will be lighter, cheaper and can be just as strong. Hope thats helpful!
