Bug Reports

When I click cult forums under the community tab I get a page with a loading wheel that doesn't go away. Works fine when I go to just the normal cults tab though. Latest version of osx/google chrome.
 
If you click submit in a poll in the thread creator it submits the new thread. I just did that but luckily I was done editing my post.

but surprised it didn`t show up on front page either since stuff with +4 is showing up but not that.

also it`s still only registering 2 views.

nah, not a big deal. just weird that it has 8 times as many upvotes as it has views, so clearly a glitch in the system.

Thats because the writing is in white now for some reason. Scroll over an ops karma, you'll see it. Then if you do it on a post in the thread you can put your cursor up there and it will change to the little hand when its over the + or -, even though you cant see em
 
was able to delete it though "my media" rather than pictures. still, the "permanently delete" button in pictures doesn't do anything. maybe because the picture was posted in a thread
 
The preview button for embedding videos only shows the video as a link, so you have no way of knowing if it actually is going to embed it or make it a link
 
Not really a bug, but...

When you log in and type the wrong password, there's a word 'verify' that's missing it's y.
 
Every time I load a new page on mobile, I get logged out. This may be a bug in the iOS 8 beta I'm running but is anyone else having this problem?
 
Bug in the last reply time. Just posted in the thread and page backed my way out. Also, I was the last one to post in the site discussion section previous. Both of my posts had incorrect last replay times.

is also occurring in the threads themselves. The last reply time in the upper right of each post, has an incorrect time. They are only in seconds.

While I'm on mobile, clicking back and forth between threads and my inbox/ profile, the safari app lags out and it exits me out of the Internet.
 
I can't embed videos from Youtube with embed code.

for whatever reason, if i am trying to load a forum/thread, the page will load all the way and then blank to a white screen with only the the side ad on the page, nothing else.. and it only happens when the adds are AT&T or Columbia adds. i have to keep refreshing the page until a different add appears otherwise it just repeatedly goes white. it just started happening this morning.

This is also happening to me and to other people i know as well.

This is happening to me as well. Cleared my cache and it worked fine once, now I can't load any forum page or thread without going to a white screen with the Columbia ad floating on the left side of my screen.

Now posting and surfing problem free on mobile.

Yup, it's getting worse and is now including different ads on top of the Columbia ad. This is annoying as fuck, thankfully it doesn't affect the mobile site.

Might have to Adblock a bitch though.

Actually... try it. See if blocking the ads fixes the bug immediately. Then we know its the ad.

Is it the same ad for everyone?

I don't have Adblock installed anymore, and fortunately haven't encountered this ad issue since last night.

I've seen 3-4 ad's that have caused the same issue. The Columbia one is the most prevalent, there is a Toyota ad, an ad for some sort of nutritional supplement/vitamin, and I believe one other which I can't recall.

I can try and get some more info on an ad if it comes up again. As I mentioned above, I haven't had this possessed ad issue since a few hours after my last post in this thread.

Screen shots as well as browser/system information are KEY.

I tried adblock last night for 5 min and it seemed to be working. I had it disabled before that and I was getting sent to the page every time I clicked on a thread. Ill try it out more tonight and see what happens.
 
Hasn't happened to me since about 6 am this morning. There was a colombia side ad, a toyota side ad, a dodge ad that took up the whole page, and then an Epic Pass side bar
 
Embedded videos in forums won't play sound on mobile.

It's not my phone cuz it works on youtube and other sites.
 
New video player isn't working terribly well for me. If it's an NS video, it loads only about half the time. The ad loads and plays fine, but then I get a message that says "FLASH: srcnotfound", down at the bottom of the last frame of the ad. If it does load, it doesn't play smoothly. I know my computer can handle 720p just fine, so it's not that Just now, I tried to play this edit from the frontpage:

It loaded fine the first time, but played extremely choppy, so I tried to reload it. Problem is, every time I've tried to load it since then it's given me that "srcnotfound" error.

Apparently clearing my cache gets it to load again, but now it won't buffer, so it's still playing super shitty. Also, you need to not play a new ad every time the quality gets changed. That's just ridiculous.
 
Tried to go onto the site on laptop and I just get a white screen with an epic pass ad. Not affecting mobile though.

Yup, the bullshit is back. With more frequency for me than before. It requires more refreshes to load an ad that won't cause the issue. Again, mobile is fine.

Same transition to a white screen as before but now the ad is gloating horizontally at the top left corner instead of being position vertically like before. I've been affected by a ford ad and one other that never fully loaded.

Not sure if it's been stated or not but is there a way for My Threads to have the most current bumped threads at the top of it?

I just opened My Threads and there are threads on page 3 of it that were just posted in a few hours ago, one on page 4, etc.

Does that make any sense?
