Okay guys here's the deal... I bought this pair of Line Lizzies with "Jester" Bindings as you can see from the thread... (both on here and on ebay...)
https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/678181/
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160763298754?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_1197

they get here today... they're F%&*ing Griffon Bindings...

Big issue because I'm 180 lbs and a type 3+ skier... Jester's=good but Griffon's=way too weak.

The kid said previously he won't take a return... but how is this my fault? I don't want to be rude but there is a big difference between the two and com'on... how did he screw that up? It's on the frikken binding!?!?

I mainly bought the set up for the bindings and was going to toss some px12's on the skis for rock/park thrashers because I generally ride 180-190 length skis....

I'm just pissed and not sure what to do... as in make a claim... callout... leave negative feedback ... etc... help me out here. I messaged him and I am awaiting a response...

Thanks.

Here is the Exact message I sent him BTW:

"Okay. Big Issue. You listed the skis and bindings as Elizabeths with JESTER bindings... and they aren't. Jester's have a DIN of 16 and are all metal interior construction... You have 12 DIn Marker Griffon's which are plastic construction... I'm pretty irritated because you listed in in the title and the description as well... I mainly bought the set up for the bindings... the skis are a little short for me but I thought "for the price of the jester's alone... I could get the jester's and some rock skis as well" So I bought them.. now I have skis that are too short and bindings that are too weak... great... I don't mind returning them but obviously I would expect you to pay for the shipping back... because this is your mistake not mine. I'm super frustrated and feel you did this intentionally... The bindings clearly state the model "Griffon" right on them.. why would you list them as jester's? Who has skis and bindings this nice and doesn't know the model?"

Shitty you got the wrong stuff. I ordered full tilts on here that we're 26.5 and when they arrived they were 25.5. Completely different bsl and what seemed like intentional because how could someone not know what size their boots are? He said it was a mistake and returned the money etc for the boots. I only tell you this story because common mistakes happen and not everyone knows much about skiing but if I were trying to get my shit back I wouldn't accuse the kid of being a thief an a liar in the first message. Just shitty business because it could be an accident an now he's pissed lol. Good luck man hope it wasn't intentional.

Normally I would agree with you... but in this case I really don't... the kid is on NSer and had the skis in hand... how could you not see the massive "griffon" logo as compared to "jester" that's why I feel like it was probably intentional to grab more money upfront... I mean he boxed them up after I paid for them... so he was cramming them into a box starring at them and at least would have seen it then I would think.

If it is a mistake then no big deal... we'll work something out where he sends me a partial refund OR I simply return the item... either way It'll get worked out I hope...

Like I said good luck. Def sucks because there is a huge difference in price and functionality between them. on the bright side I'm bigger than you and have rode and had good luck with griffons. They're about as solid a 12 din as I've seen. Still sucks though that's not what you paid for.
