When I try to back 2 off anything I just catch my noses on the rail when I’m at 90 and it ruins my monentum so I land switch. Do I need to pop off harder? Hit the rail faster?

You gotta jump/pop more at the end of the rail instead of just trying to spin off the rail. Bend your knees and then pop and do the spin

Yeah sounds like you're sending er too soon. Wait longer or go faster.

pick up your knees!

that's advice i got for rail tricks when i was learning and i still think it's one of the best tips for rail tricks out there. pop a little and pick your knees up and look for the landing, it'll come right around

yea you gotta hop at the end of the slide so so your tips go over the end of the rail, alternatively you could go faster and dip your tips so they dont touch the rail (kinda hard to explain.) I would say make a habit of hopping over the end of the rail though because it will make it a lot easier once you try to learn backside 450's ect.

I can back 270 but back swaps I have the same problem.

when you start spinning bring your legs closer together Than that helps for me, but I only learned earlier this season so... dont listen to me too much

if you pedal with your back foot too it makes it easier to pick your nose up with your front foot and clear the rail. i never pop onto or off of rails as a personal priciple

I had this same problem it was such a bitch haha

Youre just starting it too early and you should pop once you lock in the scissor motion.

More speed, a little more patience and you'll have it. If your using your leading toe edge to set your rotation, make sure you pull it back above the rail before spinning out!
