Ok, to start, I know this is snowmobiling in the Ski Gabber Section. However this video is extremely relevant to skiing.

This is a very close call with death. This guy broke off a bus sized cornice on some serious exposure. The only reason that he is alive is because he kept his composure and didn't panic.

I hope this is a reminder to all you guys as to how dangerous the backcountry can be. Please be safe and let's try to keep the death count at 23 this year.

imho the only reason that he is still alive is because that dude was lucky as fuck ...there wasn't much else he could do besides stop and pull his sled away from certain death ....
