The 2006-07 snow season starts

Saturday, October 28, 2006!

We are First to Open once again!

Lift tickets are FREE for opening day!

Ski Brule will have 2 runs available for snow sports:

1. Bunny Hill, beginner terrain serviced by Bunny Rope Tow

2. Log Jam, intermediate terrain serviced by Big Bear Chairlift

Lifts open 9 am to 4 pm, Central Time

More terrain will become available as snowmaking progresses—visit www.skibrule.com or call 1-800-DO-BRULE for current snow conditions.

Ski Brule will be open for snow sports on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until the week of Thanksgiving, when we’ll open 7 days a week.

Daily discount season lift ticket rates are $30 for adults, $26 for juniors (age 10-17), and, as always, kids 9 & under are FREE everyday.

 
why would brule open so early, whats the point, it would cost more to make the snow, run the lifts, and have the employees on the mountain than they would ever make in that time considering they are letting you go on free, and not to menion how shitty the conditions will be
 
it was really good. blue bird almost all day except for the midday snow shower. the snow kept fairly soft, and they even had three rails setup. probly the best Brule opening day conditions since the last time it opened in october several years ago.
 
i guess i just hate brule in general. it is covered in newbs that go on the steeper runs and pizza the shit outa them, and destroy the conditions, plus brule opens early every year, and it is usually just shit. But i wasnt complaining, i just dont get how they can make any profit by opening so early, and giving free tickets.
 
Think of all the free advertising that comes from opening first. I know when Sunburst opens Friday night, they will have all the traffic helicopters from Milwaukee flying over head broadcasting on the 5,6, & 10 o'clock news! Do you know how much that would cost in commercial time!

Don't be so glass half empty man, this is a wonderful thing:)

Brule has 23 Super Cannons that cost about $23k a piece, they might as well use them.
