So hyped for this! All of the other ski mags are so backcountry oriented, ski journal is pretty good but the new issue of powder is like 75% “skiing pow is sweet dude, I love rope drops, it snowed a lot last year.” Compared to skate mags ski mags have a long way to go, I barely even skate and will read thrasher front to back no problem. I think most ski mags waste so much time explaining to the reader why skiing is fun, like I really don’t need you to tell me that. I hope this one is successful the downfall of sno void was a bummer

I mean it's produce by dahlgoat so I'm sure the content will remain kosher. I hope enough people start buying these so that they become some kind of de-facto curation of skiing content like thrasher is because if anyone is qualified to do it, Owen is definitely one of the people I trust most.

Yeah stoked to see someone already in the scene taking the initiative

Issue 2 is great but [tag=209932]@owendahlberg[/tag] you gotta fix some of these typos dude, sentences like “It’s a direction of unity in the culture that will be the set for the for seeable future” are barely comprehensible.

really liked the off the leash story and the mini interviews with Reece Rule and Jed Waters I think those were my fav segments

The funniest one is where he was describing the people Gavin Rudy has worked with and typed "Strickly" instead of "Strictly" lmao

Still a banger mag I think crowdsourcing proofreaders would help tho.

Yeah it’s painful to read. Like I’m a big fan, but it’s kinda hard to take it as a serious magazine with how much terrible grammar and spelling is in it. Don’t really understand how that even happens. Would also gladly help copy edit/proofread

Yeah like I love how “raw” this mag feels, it’s very true to the culture and I think that’s important. Other ski mags feel pretty sterile and the writing is almost too good? so it feels kinda nerdy in a bad way, like they aren’t speaking the same language as your average park skier. So I don’t want browser to be like that, but the spelling and grammatical errors are so bad that if I was working for a big brand and I was looking to support cool projects, which I think is the type of cash infusion that this mag probably needs to get really big, I would be immediately turned off by the spelling/grammar

How the fuck do I buy a copy?

it says issue 1 sold out. I’m such a fucking boomer now I need a young person to help me figure this out.

Street and park skiing community finally catching up with snowboarding ??

I ordered issue 2 and it’s friggin dank. I’ll keep it forever. Not sure if they’re still for sale but to anyone who’s on the fence I highly recommend, so worth the handful of dollars.
