a fair amount of us are riding Bromont this year and we should post updates on the park here; what features are up, if anything is being moved around, what are the conditions like last time you were there etc..

so post away whoever has been recently

aujourd'hui!!!

dope update man thanks a lot, and french or english i think its all good we all understand (or should)

so far 3 features are up,

flat box(1 foot wide and 15 feet long), its ride on, slides super well and the landing is icy

street style 10 feet long steep down rail (single barrel),its surface is a bit bumppy

-normal ride on 13 feet up rail (flat rail (4-5 inches wide)not too steep angle), icy landing and you can prob crack a 6 out

nothing other than that, so not too worth going if you dont like rails/boxes

the "mini-park" will probably be opened before 3rd of january, if they still do it the same way as last year the park will have 4-5 rail/boxe feature and 1 5-10 feet jump.

Casque obligatoire

Aucune passe de park requise

Have fun !

ice,ice and ice. the jump dont kick enough, the 10ft rainbow rail is pretty sketchy, the 3 ft flat rail(lol) sucks cause its only 3 feet, idk about the up box and the last flat down is hard to hit cause you can't get enough speed to hit it(i tried to disaster it about 5 time and it's just fucking hard). don't come to bromont for the next few days if you're a park rat. they also took off the 3 feature on the "brome". the main park will probably open next week because they're starting to shoot some "man-made" snow in the park and it's going to be cold all week.

ill ask bromont if the airbag is going to be there at the next white night(i think it's january 6).

NEW 4 new features at the end of the park:

-20ft long/1feet large down box that slide really well

-20ft long/1 feet large down flat down box that also slide really well

-20ft long/1feet large flat down flat box that also slide really well

-15ft long/ 3-4inch large down rail urban style that also slide really well

every landing is really good, the mini park in the knowlton is still there.

lol no you were right the first time... kind of
every landing is really good
all the landings are really good
the landing is good
the landings are good

and are there any jumps

thanks bro =)

there's only the 10-15 feet jump in the mini-park. the landing is only good till 2-3pm.

all i know is that they are opening the big park at 100% tomorow, probably, and i say probably, going to have a set of 3-4 jump. also, dont forget to buy your park pass cause now you'll need it.

fuck! just saw this on facebook:

that just mean that there's going to be 4 jumps and 20 rails( 4 new features), don't forget to buy your park pass cause you'll need it and everything's opening tomorow at noon.

just went yesterday there is a jump up top with a deeep landing a bunch of rails they got the whale tail thing flat downs downs mellow DFD and the three jump line at the end is real legit especially the third

I went to Bromont on monday and the park is riding superr sick right now! Theres rails and jumps set up top to bottom and they had theyre big air finished, not open yet but im sure it will be this weekend. The jump line further down is nice, lots of lip and steep landings, just make sure you don't overshoot. Speed checks are key in the park. Rails are all real solid. Overall im impressed!

Going for the day this weekend but not down to spend on the park pass. What's the setup in the free terrain park, anyone know?

^setup in the mini park. i was there wednesday and everything was working really well( rails slide really well and the jump is still good). but if you're planning on going at bromont more than 1 time you should definitely buy the park season pass(25$ for the season and 20$ for a daily pass...)

to all of you rats lapping the park yesterday evening while it was DUMPING I say thank you for saving more pow pow for me :)

This thread looks like it was pretty effective last year and id be dope to do the same this year.

Last I heard they may be opening this friday night (the 16th) and also the website is claiming that there are gona be 6 parks this year so hears to a great season

cheers

great bump, they also said that they're not going to set some features up for the opening.

one bad thing about having 6 park is that there wont be any park pass. it means that there wont be any xl features this year(max jump size will be 22ft)

^ why? just b/c of no park pass / no big jumps? Does anyone else think its going to blow this year too?

That would suck the park looked dope in edits I saw last year

yeah no jumps over 22ft,no xl features and kids everywhere including landings haha its gonna be aweful

^^There will be 6 shitty spots with small jumps or rails.

And the mountain is big, from bottom to bottom a run is like 20mins... It was OK with one big park from top to bottom but going from one mini-park to another will suck.

^ well I hope ur wrong about the park sucking this year as it will be my first year not at avila. On a more positive note, the website is saying they re going to be open next friday night (the 30)
