Broken wrist won't hammer nails

People who have manual labor jobs are faced with a dilemma when it comes to the action sports lifestyle. The lifestyle comes with added risk of injury that can impact a person's ability to work and provide income.

With a hard cast on you can literally bang your wrist againt steel and you wont even feel it. when i broke my wrist id bang it against walls while i walked through the hallway to freak kids out

yea, once i got the pins out of my wrist i did the same. i would occasionally hit people with it if they made me mad, and that ish hurts.

My boss won't let us work if we are injured. Its not a question of capabilty, its cause the insurance won't allow it.
 
Growing older has definitely made me more cautious. The consequences are significantly bigger now, and not working means not paying bills means getting evicted and having my car repossessed. It's a whole different world out there after you graduate and move out of your parents place.
