Broken Tamron 17-50

So i was recently filming an interview with Dr. Ben Carson, neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins, and someone knocked my camera off a table and broke my 17-50, the glass all seems fine but the af button popped out and the seam around the camera at that point spit a bit. I've sense moved on but im not sure what to do with this broken lens.

Has anyone had this problem?

I'm just trying to get some money back out of it.

Does it still work? I wouldn't sell a lens because the af button doesnt work...

its not straight so the image is thrown off and theres a sliver on the side where no light comes through

Throw it up on ebay, it's not uncommon for people to pay somewhat decent amounts for broken electronics. I'm sure you' ll get a more than fair price even if it's broken.
