Broken Ski Idea

Alright here's an idea i've been sitting on for a while,

Most pairs of skis that you buy, as soon as one of them breaks, the skis are completely worthless to you, and the other ski that you still have that has plenty of life left in it goes to waste. It is reasonable to assume that someone else out there with the same skis has one broken ski and one good ski, so what if there was an app/website where you could browse and find a matching ski for your good one and either sell your single ski to that person or buy their good ski from them?

I believe there is an existing program that accepts donated single skis to use with bucket skis/disabled sit skis but I'm drawing a blank what it is called or where I heard of such a program.
 
Wasnt there a thread a while back where someone said the same exact thing and they made a website for trading single skis
 
Atomic used to sell 3 skis incase one breaks but then shops started taking the extra ski and making extra pairs. I guess Atomic (And possibly other companies?) got pissed and stopped doing it.
 
That's like your parents getting divorced and then getting re-married. It would bother me for some reason.
