Broken ski brake

i was sessioning my summer set up and my brake on one ski snapped in half and now is still attached to the ski, but comletely loose. is this an easy fix? should i take it to a ski shop to get it fixed instead? i need my skis to be working properly soon cause i'm heading out to australia for the summer to ski. thanks
 
When you say snapped in half, do you mean that one of the brake arms snapped off? If so, the brake is toast, you should just head to you local shop and get a new brake. Or try to find one here on NS. Itll probably be cheaper here on NS than at your local shop.
 
If the bindings are fairly new then check for warranty because that same thing happened to me, and the shop fixed it up for free.
