broken ribs!!

Anyone broken any ribs yet? Just broke 2 @ Alpine Meadows and it sucks...been 3 days and it still hurts bad..any tips besides heavy alcohol and drug use..lol

Bro, Ive broken/fractured my ribs like 3 times.. Twice playing hockey and once mountain biking

All I can say, is your fucked for months...

Did you see a doctor?? If you did are they fractured or broken?? Fractured is a little better but still a bitch. Any upper body movement is gonna hurt like a bitch, even pushups kill like 3-4 weeks later...

I had to give up playing competitive college ice hockey, amateur boxing, martial arts and weight lifting due to broken ribs keeping me out for months.. I got fat and have had to diet and work out like a muther to lose that weight. So be careful...

The only thing you can do is get yourself a rib brace at the local medical supply store. But if you went to the doctor's he probably prescribed that to you. Try to get some Vicadin's or Valums if u can.. :)

 
Ya I either broke a rib, or seperated them badly, they have been huring bad for about a month now.. It sucks cause theres nothing u can really do other then chill, I still ski though and try not to bail on my side if I fall on rails

yup, broke mine on a rail last spring and then broke them again 3 months later mountain biking

my friend broke his rib and it poked out through his skin and was bleeding crazily it was cool though

i hurt my wristed fracted but now healed, but it wasnt fun not skiing

snowboarding sucks
 
i ride bmx and one time my friend flew over his handlebars for god knows y, and he landed on his handlebars which broke his rib and his rib punctured his lung, wasnt pretty, he could barely breath and he said everytime he breathed it felt like someone was punchin him where his broken rib was

me: pepsi twist taste the exact same as normal pepsi.

my friend: no it doesnt , it has a twist.
 
my friend who boards fell on a rainbow rail at blue and broke his rips which then punctured his splene.... he gagged up so much blood it was unbelieveable. trust me you dont have it half as bad

Yeh I fractured 2, three years ago... I was skiing deep pow with skinny ass skis and I strted sinking as I was turning...I couldn't get out of the turn and I started falling onto my hip...but before the snow could stop me a tree did and I wraped myself around it... all I could see were the leaves falling form the tree... hurt like a whore hope I never do it again
