So the liner to my last year Salomon X 10s broke in a lot more than expected...I even got a blister my first weekend in them...any suggestions other than buying a new liner to take care of this problem? by the way they have probably 45-60 days in them

You can order replacement Salomon custom fit pro liner from your local dealer, but they will cost you $109 assuming prices in the parts catalogue are retail and not W/S..i'd go for Intuitions man, well worth it.

does an amazing job at giving you blisters too.

Never wear 2 pairs of socks - too much friction

word i wasnt sure how well it would work as i have never tried it but he asked for ideas other than buying new liners. just thought i would throw it out there.

according one of the guys at my shop, with solomon boots especially, the only real difference between an even size and a half size is the amount of padding in the liner. for ex. a size 28 boot and 27.5 boot are the same except the 27.5 have more padding. from trying boots on im pretty convinced too.

if you have an even size you could try to find a half size liner if you could find one.

seems like a dumb idea now that i think about it but w/e ill throw it out there

Ask your local shop for bontex boards, they will take up space. You can also use a bunch of pads like a heel lock, c pads, pinch pads...etc. Or get a new boot that fits you.

False. Liners are exactly the same. The only difference is the thickness of the footbed. This goes for all companies except fulltilt, which use different size liners for halfsizes

yeah they're 28.5s...does Salomon do proforms for PSIA...I was thinking a riser for the toe would work well, anyone know of a company that makes them?
