Broken headphones

i was borrowing my dad's professional headphones (sony MDR-7506) and i managed to fall and snap both of the plastic pieces holding together the ear parts. they are now crunched and detached and i was like oh FUCK! those were like $110 headphones. i immediately called the sony customer support line. the office that deals with that particular model is closed, but i predict i will have very little luck getting them to tell me how i can fix them since an essential part is literally shattered off.. does anyone know if this is something that may possibly be fixable? i'm in a temporary state of shock at my mistake. what do i do!!?

you're hilarious.
if you must know, i was recording some jazz music for an album and almost tripped over the chord running from my roland amp to the wall, and to avoid this, suddenly planted my foot elsewhere quickly, causing my headphones to drop from the chair next to me. i didn't "fall" like whipeout or anything, but avoided tripping on a wire i sacrificed the integrity of these pro headphones.

just buy some epoxy, it must be the strongest glue ever, he might not even notice they're broken. or put them under something he's guaranteed to step on, like the porch mat.

maybe just try telling your dad?? haha

im sure he wont be that mad if you just told him you tripped. he'll probably make fun of you actually.

go watch the sandlot for help

just fucking tell him dude...
offer to pay, a hundred dollars isnt shit...i dont care if you are like 13, tell him you will do shit for him to pay it off or something....jesus...if i broke my dads expensive shit i would do like 10 hours of labor for him and that would be that.

if i broke my dads shit when i was a kid*
you would be pissed if he broke your shit and tried to play it off...

hahaha sup dude? i'm just gonna tell my dad and ask if he wants a better pair for christmas or just a straight up replacement, because i read the warranty repair form and the fee for a declined estimate is like $175 which is absurd, and they are physical damage (doubt it will be covered)

ok dude, i totally see what you're saying. its just the reason i'm acting so cheap is cuz i just had to spend 1000 bucks on different shit i needed and i'm almost out of money. not that i can't shell out another 150, but it definitely makes me feel really shitty to have to do it. but i'll do it

most of the time, if you call a company and bitch and bitch and bitch at them, they will give you whatever you want. If the regular support guy won't give them to you, ask for the manager and such with comments along the lines to "If i pay $110 for headphones, I want them to last!" and just go nuts. works 9 out of 10 times for me

haha that's the plan. even though my dad can get super bitchy about "respecting other people's stuff," i deserve it anyways. and to the guy above, i'm considering trying that. pretty funny idea.

holy fuckin shit. he just got soooooo fuckin pissed at me when i told him. he won't even talk to me right now.
on that note, he doesn't want an upgrade for xmas, just the same ones.

sell ur body on the street to make the money
or go to work and buy new ones
or buy superglue and sodering gun to fix them
is this that complex?

oh FUCK YOU

and tell your dad, and also call customer support back. they will most likely give you a new pair or give you a discount because you want to replace them. i broke my cord for my bose earbuds and just sent them back after contacting customer support and got a free pair.

call support and tell them that your really mad that there "shitty" product broke so easily and that you needa refund or another pair or else you will tell every body you know about how bad their company and products are, if they are true salesmen they will probably give you another pair.
